US Strike Coalition

A grassroots network of organizations fighting for climate and social justice across the United States. We aim to create a space for the US youth climate movement to collaborate, strategize, and mobilize. USSC’s vision is to coordinate and strengthen efforts of youth organizations working on issues central to social justice – from climate policy to racial justice, from striking to endorsing, and beyond. We are fighting the same fight, we are Stronger Together.

How to Join the Coalition

USSC’s theory of change is that by coming together to a connected ecosystem, it allows each org to focus on their niche. At the moment, we’re all fighting in our own corner trying to do a little of everything. When we come together, each org can focus on their theory of change, knowing that we can rely on each other to fill in the missing pieces where necessary. We need as many orgs working together to tackle our interconnected fights as we can.

After you register your organization, you will be invited to join our Slack Workspace, where you can connect with other coalition members and join organization efforts. See registered groups on the Coalition Members page.

Coalition calls will bring together organizations from across the country, and serve as opportunities for movement updates and collaboration. USSC will amplify the work of member organizations, and organization events / important dates can be formally registered to appear on our movement calendar.
